The upcoming game of Arkane Studios, Deathloop, brings you to fight against the keepers who trapped you on the time loop playground and escape!
In Deathloop, you will be playing in the role of an assassin named Colt Vahn, waking up on a beach at the island of Blackreef, which is right in the middle of the ocean swarming with deadly enemies. Most importantly, as the name Deathloop suggests, you are stuck in a never-ending, 24-hour time loop.
In order to survive and escape from both loops, you are tasked with killing the eight Visionaries scattered across the whole island, who hold the key to break through the imprisonment.
You have to take down all of them before midnight arrives, leaving even one alive will cause the time loop to reset and you will have to start the assassination all over again. Be aware that dying also resets it and you will be waking up on the beach in the morning again!
Luckily, the time loop resets but your memory retains from each loop. Which means you get to learn from your failures and try new approaches to fight against your enemies. So how do you solve the time loop in 24 hours? In Deathloop, each of your targets has their own schedules and personalities, so you must lead Colt to locate every target on the island, track their daily routines, and eliminate them one by one before your mission time runs out.
Of course, you definitely need weapons to assassinate, you get to obtain a huge variety of gear during your adventure for all sorts of killing, silent kills, guns blazing, and many more. There are also different options for engaging each target depending on your playstyle, with the option to either go in guns blazing or stealthily take them down.
