EA Sports has confirmed that the French football star Kylian Mbappé has once again become the cover star, appearing on FIFA 21 and now FIFA 22.

EA Sports this year is banking on its new HyperMotion technology, which captures movements in a way that EA believes will bring a more realistic soccer experience to video game fans. HyperMotion technology basically uses a combination of real-time motion capture, where EA Sports recorded 22 professional footballers playing a game wearing Xsens suits, which allowed them to collect real-human movement data that they used to build more realistic characters in FIFA 22. Besides, FIFA 22 adopts a proprietary machine learning algorithm, featuring over 4000 new animations by learning and analyzing more than 8.7 million frames of capture footage, presenting new animations in real time to create “organic football realism”.

If you’re the kind of player who likes to customize their squad, the new version has a ton of stuff you’ll like. FIFA 22‘s career mode will be coming with Custom Teams, where you get to customize your team the same way you would in real life, find the players that are best suited for your team and join the league to compete with other teams. EA has even updated that there are more new game features being introduced, Volta, Ultimate Team and Pro Clubs will be released sometime in the future though there’s no exact date announced yet.
