Far Cry 6 is almost here — Yara’s dictator Antón Castillo is bringing his son Diego suppressing a guerrilla revolution by any harsh means necessary. Antón intends to train his son to be a better dictator, keeping a tight hold on the people of Yara and restoring the nation, hoping his son will follow his bloody steps.
And you, our hero Dani Rojas, a young Yara native who was a former soldier became a guerrilla fighter desperate to liberate the Yara nation. Thankfully, you are not alone, you’ve got a number of allies including Clara – the leader of the Libertad group, and Juan – a cunning guerrilla master who can teach you a thing or two about making things go boom!
Being inspired by Cuba’s culture and scenery, the story of Far Cry 6 will be taking place on the tropical island of Yara, in the gameplay you may see the unique view of tropical climes and retro aesthetic of Cuba. The island is designed as a mid-twentieth-century setting, so basically the weapons and vehicles you might find are older than you first expected.
One of the coolest things about Far Cry 6 that you can look forward to is the animal companions fighting alongside you known as ‘Amigos’. Such as a little dog named Chorizo that has a doggie wheelchair, and can be used to distract enemies so you can get the drop on them. Or a denim-clad alligator named Guapo who will straight up devour your foes on your command. What’s more, some more new features and wild weapons can be expected in this upcoming Far Cry 6.
