More exciting games that are being confirmed for release in 2021 as we are halfway through the year, , including Far Cry 6, Deathloop, Metroid Dread and many more games. 1. NBA 2K22

Release date: September 10, 2021
Synchronization of all formats and generations has been restored this year, and September 10, 2021 is the confirmed release date of NBA 2K22. It’s out on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.
In the next version of the best-selling NBA basketball simulation video game, key field gameplay improvements are being implemented, allowing players to not only better control their scoring methods, but also how they respond to these actions on the defensive end. The NBA 2K22 Standard Edition has global geniuses and 2xNBA All-Star players Luka Doncic. Luca represents his country with a vibrant cover to commemorate the colors of the Slovenian flag.
Also, free for all 2K22 gamers, Seasons bring more content, more rewards, more ways to play. And this year, Seasons will introduce a new way to improve your MyPLAYER and win exciting MyPLAYER prizes in City and Neighborhood.
With the first NBA 2K22 gameplay reveal trailer released in late August, more influential gameplay changes will be introduced.

2. TALES OF ARISE

Like previous games in the series, Tales of Arise is an action role-playing game, however it will not feature multiplayer. This game will be launching on September 10 on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One.

3. DEATHLOOP
Platform(s): PC via Steam, PS5
Release date: September 14, 2021
Deathloop, the next game from Arkane, the developer behind the Dishonored series, put rival assassins against each other in a brutal time loop game. This PS5 timed-exclusive was originally planned to release in 2020, but after multiple delays due to the pandemic, it will now launch on September 14, 2021, launching for PC via Steam and the Bethesda store, and also PS5.
Deathloop is a story about an assassin named Colt, who’s stuck in a single day, repeating over and over again. Apparently to escape this loop, Colt must kill the Keepers of the Loop, a total of 8 of them. Colt has to kill all of them in 24 hours, or else the loop recycles back to the first murder, try to take them down again. And dying resets it as well. One side note: there’ll be a rival assassin who will try to kill him when he is trying to kill the visionaries.

4. FIFA 22

Release date: 1 October, 2021
FIFA 22 will be released on 1 October 2021. Those who purchase the Ultimate Edition can play the game four days in advance (from September 27). Available on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PC (via Origin and Steam), Nintendo Switch and Google Stadia.
France’s Kylian Mbappé has once again become the cover star, appearing on FIFA 21 and now FIFA 22.
The first confirmed feature for this year’s release is HyperMotion. Using a proprietary machine learning algorithm, this technology is used to evaluate over 8.7 million frames of player motion to create animations in real time. More new game features will be introduced, from rewritten goalkeepers to new attacking tactics. You can even create your own football club in FIFA 22 Career Mode.
What’s more, EA Sports recently announced that “Female Virtual Pros” will enter FIFA 22 with a breakthrough update. For the first time, players will have the opportunity to create their own female pros in the Pros Club game mode.

5. FAR CRY 6

Far Cry 6 is an upcoming first-person shooter game developed by Ubisoft Toronto and published by Ubisoft. It is the sixth installment in the Far Cry series. The game is set to be released on October 7, 2021 for PC, Stadia, the PS4 and PS5, and Xbox One and Xbox Series X.
Far Cry 6 takes place on the fictional Caribbean island of Yara, where you, as Dani Rojas, will fight alongside a modern-day guerrilla revolution to liberate Yara. You are to fight against Anton Castillo, the dictator of Yara who intends to restore his nation. In order to contend with Anton’s army, you must adopt the Resolver concept and use an arsenal of new weapons, vehicles, and animal companions to ignite a revolutionary movement and take down the authoritarian regime.

6. METROID DREAD

Experience the ultimate cosmic space adventure in Metroid Dread and fight alien life forms.This action-adventure video game will be released on October 8, 2021 on Nintendo Switch. The developers, MercurySteam and Nintendo EPD promised that Metro Dread will be a beginner-friendly entry to the series.
After the events of the Metroid Fusion game, bounty hunter Samus Aran’s story continues where you will be playing as Samus, entering planet ZDR hunted by the ominous E.M.M.I. enemies and investigates mysterious transmissions sent to the Galactic Federation. 7. BACK 4 BLOOD

Back 4 Blood is expected to launch on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X on October 12, 2021.
This game is considered the spiritual successor of Left 4 Dead because it was developed by the creator of the original game and has basically features largely similar gameplay. In this upcoming multiplayer first-person shooter game, after a global outbreak caused by a newly discovered parasite, most humans have been infected and become “Ridden”, leaving you in a post-apocalyptic world.

8. DEMON SLAYER – THE HINOKAMI CHRONICLES

Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles is heading toward a global release on October 14, 2021 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S as well as Stream.
The story takes place in Taishō-era Japan. It follows the protagonist Tanjiro Kamado and his sister Nezuko Kamado as they seek a cure for Nezuko’s demon curse. There are two playing modes available:
In the Adventure Mode, follow the story of Tanjiro and learn about the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba in the anime. He confronts demons to transform his sister Nezuko, who has become a demon, back into a human.
In Versus Mode, anime characters including Tanjiro and Nezuko can be paired freely in a 1v1 setting, with up to 2 players online or offline!

9. BATTLEFIELD 2042

In this third-person action-adventure game, a fresh take on Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, it focuses on narrative and your choice.
What’s interesting is that you can only play the role of Star Lord, and you can choose various attacks for the rest of the ensemble in the fierce battle. Choice and consequence is part of the experience in which you will have to make decisions as the leader of the Guardians, and be aware that your decisions might cause various consequences that you cannot expect, probably. It is set to be released on October 26, 2021 on PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X, and Xbox One.

11. FORZA HORIZON 5

The follow-up game to Forza Horizon 4 in 2018, Forza Horizon 5 will have its debut on both Xbox consoles and on PC on 9 November 2021.
Once again, the fictional Horizon Festival will be hosted in a new country, and this time is Mexico. The landscape is the main star of a Forza Horizon game. Meaning that, there will be a highly diverse set of landscapes included, like grasslands and deserts, as well as mountainous towns and lush jungles. You’ll have to deal with more than just the changing landscapes: there will be dynamic weather that can change throughout the day and night, massive thunderstorms, sandstorms and everything in between.

12. DYING LIGHT 2

The sequel to 2015’s Dying Light, the game Dying Light 2: Stay Human is scheduled to be released on February 4, 2022 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and PC.
More than two decades ago in Dying Light, we fought the virus in Harran — but lost. Now we lose again. The City, one of the last large human settlements, torn apart by conflict. Civilization has returned to the dark age. However, we still have hope. In Dying Light 2, you, as Aiden Caldwell, hone your skills to defeat your enemies and form allies, make the most of your parkour skills to win even the most brutal encounter. Be aware that new zombies have been added. Like the first game, zombies move slowly when exposed to the sun, but they have become more aggressive and hostile at night.
Dying Light 2’s map is four times bigger than the original, you can explore freely and hunt for different scraps and resources to make new items and weapons.

13. HALO: INFINITE

Recently the release date for Halo Infinite is set for December 8, 2021, launching for PC, Xbox Series X | S, and Xbox One in 2021.
Although the Halo Infinite multiplayer test date has not yet been determined, we know that the new version of the series of multiplayer games will include seasons, the first of which is called “Heroes of Reach”, and the multiplayer mode would be free-to-play. What’s more, each of Infinite’s Battle Passes would never expire. You have ample time to unlock cosmetics and perks from a Battle Pass without worrying it expires.
The main storyline in Halo Infinite will follow the events from Halo 5: Guardians in which Master Chief returns, playing a more central role than in Halo 5. He will have to fight against the primary antagonists Banished, a disgruntled group that separated from the Covenant. The game will take place in one of the remaining Halo Rings, Zeta Halo (also known as Installation 07).
